FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the PDF-to-JPG conversion work?

Each page is rendered to a canvas at your chosen scale (1x, 2x, or 3x) using PDF.js, then exported as a JPEG at your selected quality setting. No server is involved.

Can I convert only specific pages?

Use the page range field to specify which pages to convert, e.g. 1-3 or 1,4,7. Leave it empty to convert all pages. Multi-page output is bundled into a single ZIP file.

How do I get higher resolution output?

Choose 2x or 3x scale for sharper output. At 2x, an A4 page renders at approximately 1654×2339 px — suitable for screen display and most print uses.

Are my files uploaded to your server?

No. PDF.js runs entirely in your browser. No page data, images, or text are sent to any server. The Network tab in DevTools shows zero outbound requests during conversion.
